I support every kind of birth.
There's no version of birth I'm "for" or "against." My job is to support YOUR birth — the one that fits your body, your values, your circumstances, and what unfolds.
Whatever your birth looks like, my role is the same: to help you feel informed, held, and in your own center.
-
Movement, breath, and your body's process.
-
Positioning, comfort, and informed decision-making before, during, and after the epidural.
-
Preparing you for the experience, supporting gentle c-section practices, and being present for the first hours afterward.
-
Staying with you through the change in plans, advocating for your preferences within the new context, and supporting your recovery.
-
Provider advocacy, informed decision-making, and steady presence through a labor that carries its own history.

What working together actually looks like.
From the moment you book a free call, you have someone in your corner. Here's how the months ahead unfold.
Once you book
I send you welcome materials: a birth plan template to start reflecting on, a few questions to think about before we meet, and my contact info. From this point on, you can text or call me anytime — for questions, to debrief an appointment, or just to talk.
I'll also send resources I love for pregnancy and birth. Some people devour them. Some save them for later. Some never open them. No wrong answer — they're here for you, not for me.
First prenatal — 28 to 30 weeks
We meet wherever feels right to you. I've done first prenatals in living rooms, at parks, and over coffee. About 90 minutes. This is where I get to know you — your history, your hopes, your fears, who's going to be in the room with you. We start shaping a birth plan that actually fits.
An optional check-in — 32 weeks
If this is your first baby, I usually like to sneak in an extra visit. No pressure, no agenda — just a chance to check in on how you're feeling and answer questions that have come up.
Second prenatal — 35 to 36 weeks
At your home. This is where the real preparation happens — labor positions, somatic breathwork and bodywork, comfort tools you and your partner can practice before you need them. We finalize your birth plan and talk through your postpartum plan: who's coming, who's helping, what you actually need.
The on-call window — 38 to 42 weeks
I'm on call 24/7. My phone is always on. When you call, I come.
During labor
I meet you wherever you are — at home in early labor, at the hospital when active labor begins. I stay continuously until your baby is born. I bring everything I need: TENS machine, lighting, comfort tools, snacks for your partner. I help you move, breathe, and decide. I help your partner stay involved. I stay quiet when you don't need me to speak.
The first hours after
I stay through the first one to two hours after birth — through the first feed, the initial recovery, until you're settled into your postpartum room. Then I go home and let you sleep.
Your postpartum visit
We meet again, in person, once you're home and settled. We debrief your birth — what felt good, what was hard, what you want to remember. I check in on how you're actually doing, not just the baby. I bring referrals if you need them: lactation, pelvic floor, mental health, whatever's come up.
After
You can text or call me long after our formal work ends. Most of my clients still do. The door stays open.
